The techniques used by the modern
silversmiths go back to the beginning of the third millennium
B.C. The modern technology, by the exception of pressing,
electro-pressing and lathe-turning provided only a few
mechanic benefit. The moulding and lathe-turning are
still done by hand as it has been the same since ages.
